After 4 years’ tinkering and not really advancing repairs I am considering getting my 1970 car trailered over into England to go to a specialist in that model. After repair it would need to be trailered back.
The car was registered in France when new and I am the registered owner on the CG. It has no CT.
I can’t find online the guy who is reckoned to be the expert in vehicle movements and registrations that I could consult - anyone know of him, please?
Just remembered - Mark Rimmer.

Mark is your man. He’s happy to have his email on SF. He used to be on SF but is now on FB.
Thanks, all, for the contact details. Sorted.
Mark told me that if the movement is not permanent then it’s just a case of trailering, or car-transportering - it over and back.
I have contacted a transport company who advertise this service, but their quote is far beyond what I can pay.
Any recommendations - private individuals or companies - that might be more reasonable?
Or does anyone know of a company that could hire me a vehicle with a car trailer to take the car myself to Suffolk?
I am of a certain age …
