Facebook and Meta, what's happening?

It started for me about a month ago with records of a couple of my messages missing. Then Meta tried to make out it was the people concerned who were hiding the originals, something they denied.

Then the other day my pointer on the screen froze and a brief message, too brief and fast to completely read, flashed across the screen hinting that something had taken control of my pointer. I switched off at the mains and restarted immediately, after which all was ok for a time, but now when I go to FB I am faced with what looks like a complete rejoin from scratch. Not trusting it, and only really interested in FB for passing messages I declined to go further and will try to persuade people to return to emails instead.

Has anybody else any info on this?

Not on FB is your antivirus upto date? Have you been hacked???

I followed the instructions this time until I realised they wanted to charge me or continue for free with ads. Chose the latter but will try and persuade my regular people away from it.

The above I found worrying, the only time the pointer should move is when you manipulate it. Some screen box type flashes can be when programs execute some aren’t legit. Best get it checked out. To be on the safe side.

Worried me a bit too, I’ll ask Eddie to have a look at it.
