I once ordered a pizza with pepperoni, it came with a load of peppers on it. Hadn’t been living here long then. Nearest thing to proper pepperoni is chorizo.
OK, thanks. Now I know never to order pepperoni on my pizza outside Germany. Any kind of salami is yuk for me.

Definitely don’t do it around Glasgow as, rather than vaguely spicy, it’s really quite cheeky.
