I think that the problem is that it gets around paywalls.
Though, TBH, I think all news sites should allow access to their archived articles for free after a certain period of time - say 6 months to a year. And certainly all taxpayer funded sites should be completely open, all the time.

What, exactly, is whoever’s problem with this ? It’s not as though we’re hacking fbi systems.
With this and the rubbish about vpn’s this sounds like attack after attack on personal freedom. Which I would never have thought the US would go in for.

To remember the rise you’d have had to be old enough in the early 1930’s do do so, therefore born not later than mid 1920’s. I’m sure there are a few left who will recall the events but not many now.
That’s why we study history.

They’d only see the outermost VPN which wouldn’t look unusual.
Still better than nothing for lots of purposes and it’s very woŕrying that my right and freedom could be taken away.
