A second for Le Bon Coin. You just have to separate the wheat from the chaff. We got some superb Bois & Chiffons acacia furniture in excellent condition for a fraction of the price you have to pay in the store. We’ve seen so e excellent stuff in a local Troc as well.
totally agree! bare basics will suffice

yes I agree, basics only from Ikea to start with - it’s a 2nd residence so will take us time to build up some nice pieces but all part of the fun. Ikea will be mostly for duvets, pillows and towls hopefully and some initial must haves!
