Hello, I am an English ex nurse, and I am looking for live in care in France. I have just bought a small cottage in France, and it would be nice to be able to visit my home, but also to be able to get extended visa to work in France. I therefore, would be looking at maybe a couple of days of per week, but also a contract so that I can get an extended visa. I would have to get this to be able to take the job. If you have found someone, do you know of anyone else who is interested in an English ex nurse looking for live in carer. I charge Ā£150.00 per 24 hour care.

I would be working under Carer/companion status but I have much experience as an RN for over 25 years. I presently work as a live in carer adhoc in the UK.

@KJC I appreciate that this was a while ago and may come out of the blue, but I too would be interested in your Romanian Arpadās information (however I donāt know how to DM on this platform, so I am posting publicly). My father, a former academic whose memory is failing, is in need of someone to provide some companionship in Paris (supervision to be sure he doesnāt get too lost or confused ) and help with shopping/cooking). Does this sound like a fit? If anyone else has suggestions they are most welcome.
