Flights from the UK to St Gatien airport Deauville

Has anyone ever flown from the UK to St Gatien airport near Deauville? Or does the airport just specialise in holiday flights?

The airport website is only showing holiday destinations at the moment and they’re all further south. Google thinks you might be able to get there in summer, but maybe not a direct flight. It also mentions Caen airport as an alternative but that doesn’t seem to have any UK flights either.

My brother flew to Deauville for bloodstock sales a few weeks ago from Newmarket - but a private flight for racehorse owners.

Jane, perhaps we should move to Newmarket and buy a stake in à race horse?

Love to see racing horses. Hoping to visit one of the racecourses in Deauville next time.

Thanks for the info Jennifer. There was a flight from City airport to St Gatien at one time. Also flights to Caen airport in the past too. Maybe they will return. There’s talk of the Oxford airport resuming flights which would be handy for us, otherwise we will stick with Brittany Ferries. Not too far to Portsmouth from where we live.
