French conversation for English speakers- Royan Area- Women only

Bonjour! Je m’appelle Josyane Sempels.
I moved from California to Royan about 1 year ago.
I’m a native French speaker and fluent in English.
I’m wondering if some English speakers living in this area would be interested in French conversation around a cup of coffee. When I moved to the USA, having a conversation in English was the hardest thing to do for me as I was learning the language.
If you’re interested in relaxed discussions (small groups of 3 or 4) to help you feel more comfortable speaking French in everyday life, please contact me.
All levels are welcome!!
10 Euros/hour/per person for groups of 2,3 or 4 people.

It’s perfectly ok to offer women only services if they fall into one of these categories

  • Protection des victimes de violences sexuelles : foyers d’accueil ou espaces sécurisés.

  • Vie privée et décence : hébergement dans une partie du domicile, instituts de soins corporels.

  • Liberté d’association : clubs privés ou réseaux professionnels féminins.

  • Organisation d’activités sportives : compétitions ou cours non mixtes.

So this could be considered a private club,

Yes, I see what you mean and I do agree, it was just that I wonder how it would have gone down if that sentence had said ‘men only’ instead. :thinking:

No David, it’s not illegal to have an only women group. It’s just that sometimes women feel more comfortable to speak in a women group.
I will ask them if they’re ok to include men. I’ll keep in touch with you.

I don’t exclude men David. I want to ask the women group if they are ok to include men. Sometimes women feel more comfortable in an only women group. I can create a men’s group too . I suppose you’re feeling ok if you are the only man in the group. I’ll keep you posted. :blush:
