Just FYI, there’s a cool course, offered for free via Coursera (or as another option you can purchase for credit), on the French Revolution. I’ve started the first couple of weeks’ lectures and it is very good. It’s for folks who are interested but have just a basic understanding.
Taught by Peter McPhee who has authored a few books on the subject.
Officially it starts on January 29th
