Wow that’s expensive, only 1,64 for diesel around here.
Leclerc in Poitiers which always seems to be about the cheapest in 86/87 had it at 1.59.8 yesterday, it seems like a while since it’s been in the 50’s.
Don’t forget I was writing the price in £ so it could be easily compared with the OP. 1,61€ is our local price today.
I’m always surprised how much fuel prices differ in France from place to place. OH filled up with diesel on Friday for €1.64 per litre, but over Toulouse way it’s always more expensive, sometimes by 10 or 12 cents and its always cheaper in Narbonne. We live between the two
Good to see prices dropping over the last month. When we were there at the start of May the best we saw diesel was 1.685 euros at Autun intermarche, and by the time we left it was over 1.70 there. Due to circumstances we ended up filling at a village station while heading north and paid 1.85/litre.
