I did this with my ‘point and shoot’ - the sort of camera gear that would take photographs like the ones in the link are in a box ready for mailing from Valencia.
I was amazed that O’Brian the Punter can be clearly seen - his sword belt lower left. These moons with circles round generally presage snowy weather. The previous one did. This one not.
This was Jan 2nd. Nice clouds.

There was a large meteor over England last night
I saw it from a good bit further north and it looked like a red green firework

I thought it was a firework,but it disappeared too quickly,at the time I wondered was it a meteor but then pretty much forgot,however this morning it is all over social media
