I’ve just found that following the success of Wordle, Le Monde is offering free games on its website - ‘mots trouvés’ and crosswords.
As a “not quite bilingual” person I found it surprisingly tough going, but looking at the answers afterwards was fascinating.
In particular, because you can have fais/fait/faites all out of the same letters, it gets you thinking in French grammatical structures (if you play Spelling Bee and see ‘ing’ you know exactly what I mean).
I’ll be making a daily practice of the mots trouvés. Tried it for 3 days and my scores are gradually creeping up!
