Function room attached to gites

Hello,

We've just about finished renovating 3 gites attached to our old farmhouse in the middle of the Haut Languedoc national park which sleep up to 14 in total. We also have a fairly large function room - well it could host modest functions if we give it a lick of paint and remove the hideous curtains. I'm now looking for ideas as to what to do with it which will hopefully boost bookings during the low season.

Ideally I'd like to turn it into a classroom and run English immersion courses as I've got plenty of experience teaching business English and would like to go back to it, but is it possible to market English courses in rural France?

Any ideas gratefully received, Jemima

Sure are Chris, thanks

Hi Jemmima,

I trust our ongoing discussions are helping you?

Thanks but unfortunately the place isn't anywhere pretty enough to host weddings (at least not yet). I was thinking maybe along the lines of special interest groups that need activity/rehearsal space as well as self-catering accommodation. Has anyone who's tried this got any tips?
