On the 24th November, we held a cabaret evening in aid of the UK and French Haemochromatosis Socieites.
We had a wonderful night and raised a huge 1200 euros, which thrilled us all.
Sarah Berry, editor of the Deux Sevres Monthly, was very supportive, with free advertising and helping with the printing of tickets etc.
My friend, Nigel Skinner gave his super singing services for nothing, along with a local ban Three Plus One.
She also put this super piece in the January edition.
Hopefully, it may give prospective fund-raisers some ideas.
