I’ve been thinking about getting one of those suspended seats for our guests beside the pool. They are quite expensive but as they are mainly made of rattan I wonder how robust they are and whether they are worth the money?
Anyone got one? What do you reckon?

Agreed, and probably not moisture resistant, rain, wet people/children…
Its the 20+ stone half pissed ones you have to worry about.

They are certainly fun. Friends had a couple in their outside seating area. Really smart and comfortable and a good talking point when friends (us) visited… but not everyone is so well-behaved.
Would not suggest them for “paying guests/gites” as there are some H&S angles to consider… and you don’t want to be sued when one hanging seat “stops hanging”… or children (or tiddly adults) use them like swings and/or battering rams…
Sounds far-fetched… nope… we watched in horror when some little darlings went crazy with these new playthings… aaargh.
