Gare du Nord to Montparnasse

Can anybody please tell me if 1 hour is enough time to change from these stations via the metro?

Is this helpful?

Buy the metro tickets before you get to GDN or expect long queues to buy them. If coming in on the Eurostar they sell them at the bar.

Thank you @graham @Wozza
I have crossed a few times, but this time OH will be with me and he walks much slower these days.
It’s all about the arrival time at final destination.
Good tip Warren :hugs:

You can also put the Bonjour RATP app on your phone and load e-tickets on to it.

Paper tickets are being phased out and I now have a plastic carnet.

Actually if you go towards the line 4 there are couple of machines just before the entry and I have never found more than a couple of people queued up there. This is on Friday evenings .
