Getting a refund for medical expenses without a Carte Vitale

In the absence of a Carte Vitale, and with only a Feuille de Soins and a European Health Card, can anybody guide me as to how to go about getting a refund? I am sure someone must have asked the question before so if this has already been answered can someone please point me in the right direction.. Many thanks!

Dear Lindsey

I suggest you contact www.amariz.fr. This company has specialised in providing medical insurance for people living in France for the last 20 years. The staff are bilingual as is the website. The insurance cover is provided by Lloyd’s of London. They will be able to help you for future reimbursements.

Good luck

Go to the new Useful Links page http://www.survivefrance.com/page/useful-links. You'll find a number for an English-speaking CPAM help line. (Apols if you speak fluent French!).

Hi Lindsey. Other, more knowledgeable, members may be able to help, but in the meantime, have a look at this discussion: http://www.survivefrance.com/forum/topics/cpam-feuille-de-soins-help
