I don’t think I’m into reading ghost stories but I do enjoy the occasional ghost film, and one that pops into mind is ‘The Others’ (2001) starring Nicole Kidman. The film had me fooled nearly through to the end when Nicole Kidman and her two children, living in what they thought was a ghost house, turned out to be the ghosts! Sorry that I’ve given the game away!
There doesn’t seem to be an original book but ‘The Turn of the Screw’ by Henry James is credited as being the inspiration for the film. Have downloaded a Kindle sample and will see how it goes….
I see that I’ve downloaded Kindle samples of ‘Nania’, ‘The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe’, ‘Harry Potter’ & others. I think I prefer fantasy to ghosts, but they are related I think!
