It might take me till Christmas to master this but I’m going to give it a go.

When I looked at the heading I thought ‘gift wrapping without wine’ - that just doesn’t happen

Before I moved to France I called it sellotape but, having spent many years in France, I got into the habit of calling it scotch which, I believe, is the leading brand. Can’t get out of the habit.

In the UK years ago sticky tape was made by Durex. My late Mother had to be taken to one side by her supervisor in an office job and told shouting “ Who’s got the Durex” across the room wasn’t the best thing to do

So cool! I always use double-sided tape to wrap gifts so it looks as neat as possible

In Oz we call it sticky tape, I think Sello tape is also a brand! We also call vacuum cleaners vacuum cleaners rather than Hoovers!
