I'm hoping that someone can give me some advice on how to declare money received as a pension lump sum. This is tax free in the UK but in France I'm pretty sure that the government will want a piece of the action.
So, if anyone out there has had this experience (I'm probably not the first) or knows someone ,or an organisation who i can speak to then i would appreciate the info

And thank you Jane for your kind comments.
If you look at all blogs and Search for taxation of lump sum payments, you should find all the information you need. May I suggest that you sign up for the French property newsletter, it is always interesting, useful and well informed.
