Hi everyone, so glad to join your great site. My wife, 2 horses and 6 dogs are hoping to move from Spain to The Vienne area, just north of Ruffec, within the next 6 months. We need some rapid answers to tax questions and wish to find someone we can pay for a proper consultation, who would then do our annual return. Naturally I have looked online but can’t find anyone suitable, and those that are don’t reply (I know, it’s August!)
I would deeply appreciate it if anyone has a recommendation.

Is there a reason why you want a tax lawyer and not an accountant? An accountant might be easier to find. Also, would they need to speak English?

Yes, you are right accountant is fine, and preferably in English. 20 years ago I was fully fluent in French and working in Paris but alas I need to regain my skills, not helped by living in Spain for a long time - right now I am speaking Sprench! Thank you!
