Erasmus is a fantastic scheme and I’m so glad young Brits are able to rejoin it

Unfortunately following the massive decline in EU students in UK universities and UK governments’ (plural!) I wonder what the take-up will be from CE (Continental Europe).

I benefitted from Erasmus as a professor and made many useful contacts in CE universities and my advice to any undergrad, whether arts, humanities or science would be to have a year in another country and see if you can then pursue post-grad study outside the UK.

Is it ageist - should it be open to all?

I don’t think there’s an age restriction and, when I looked it up, it appears it helps rather more than university students (it includes apprenticeships, for example).
