I have heard anecdotes, but as part of my process of considering the purchase of a tourism lodging south of Eyvirat and north of Perigueux I would like to nail down some specifics about demand for tourism lodging and activities in the area.
What sources could you recommend for fact-based numbers such as:
- # of Gites versus # of B&B; # Hotels
- occupancy rates
- visitor/tourist demographics
- most visited villages, popular sites, etc.
I understand that other areas in Perigord or more popular touristically (e.g. Black Perigord), but I am seeking to identify an UNDERSERVED area.
