Grilled langoustines with garlic butter

Many thanks to Nibbler Dibbler from French Dining School for this recipe which is simply delicious and easy for those summer parties!


GRILLED LANGOUSTINES WITH GARLIC BUTTER

serves 10

Ingredients
50/60 Langoustines
200g of butter
1 lemon
6 cloves of garlic
bunch of parsley
bunch of chives
bunch of dill
salt & pepper

Method
Make garlic butter mixing all the herbs, garlic and lemon. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Use scissors to cut and remove the top shell of each langoustine tail. Line a large oven pan with baking foil. Place the langoustines closely together in the pan on top of the foil. Add salt and pepper to the tails.
Cover the langoustine tails with the garlic butter and grill in a very hot oven (250 degrees) for 8 minutes.
Serve with bread (to dip) and half a lemon per plate.
Any chilled white wine is recommended with this dish.

They look very yummy Wendy, wonder if you could do them on the barbecue? I,ll give them a try next time hubby the fish lover comes home.
