W ith this very hot weather our bin starts to smell before it is ready to be emptied.
We used to use bin powder in UK for this problem but haven’t seen it here in France.
Has a yone else been able to find it here?
No but bicarb with some essential oils added would do the trick I’m sure! Actually such a good idea I shall try and report back!

Our bin is in the kitchen, not outside, and I never get smells from that. Could it be something to do with sitting in full, hot, sun perhaps?
BTW, the reason we have a wheelie bin indoors is because one of our former dogs, Boss the Rottweiler, got into the habit of tipping the lids of smaller bins to get at the contents.
