I’ve only experienced 2 French hospitals so my experience is hardly representative but the standard of daily cleaning was very impressive in both, sompared to what seemed to be the norma where I was before. On that basis, I’d be surprised if there was a bit problem, but all this is purely anecdotal of course.
Frankly, I follow the health news quite closely and haven’t seen anything worrying about MRSA in French hospitals etc recently …
yes. there was a problem, but it was a few years ago now…
phew… sighs of relief all round… 
Hygiene is very strictly followed in my experiences of medical places…
