Help: Geothermie company in Liquidation

We have installed all the copper pipework externally and internally, we have the compressors and water heater, all we need is for the "sondes" to be put in place and the installation to be commissioned but éNALSA who installed it all have gone bust. Does anybody know of a French (or English) company which uses a refrigerant fluide/gaz to transfer ground heat to floor heat? Or even a plumber who has had dealings with a company which uses this geothermal form of heat?

Yes I guessed you probably had been along that route and I can't blame any trade for not wanting to take on another companies work as it's their insurance and reputation which is the problem with decennials etc. I have done that for customers in the UK only to have it bite me so I am twice shy now. Although having paid good money thus far, having it all ripped out and replaced to placate an insurance is a bit daft but that's the French system. How about the decennial insurer, would that be any good?

That is what I have been doing, where I am able to find direct contact details but they are difficult to find and I think the French are very reluctant to take on another company's contract half way through. Early days.....

Without wishing to tell you how to suck eggs, I think I would contact the other companies you mention and see if any of those would pick up the baton and run with it.

I understand éNALSA is a subsidary of Atlantic and Thermor is also connected to them. Not too worried about the decennial insurance as they are obviously a nonsense if the company goes bust. Danfoss make the compressor. We have invested so much already especially with the groundwork and underfloor piping we just need someone to "mise en service" for us.

How annoying Melissa, in the middle of the project. There will be a number of companies using similar systems for geothermal and from the leaflets we receive and phone calls it hopefully won't be too much of a search. Possible problem with the decennial insurance though as the new company would be taking over work not done by themselves.

Could you phone the compressor manufacturers and ask them? That way you may get a new company who know that pump instead of potentially a rival setup who will insist on their pump etc.
