For those of you who do Wordle, some of you may do one or more of the other puzzles the NYT offers. I do Connections it’s like the Only Connect Wall, where you have to see the links across a grid of 16 words - four rows of four.
I’ve managed today’s (to my surprise). The last row, by default, is obviously just the four remaining words and this evening I have no idea what the answer means (NB: sometimes it is very American).
In case someone is still doing it, I’ve blurred the answer out. I would be grateful if someone could explain it to me. Thanks
You could have goggled it, I kind of knew, but here’s google’s answer. Probably 90% of Americans will know about it (and be concerned!)
" a type of fat, and the most common type found in your blood. They serve as a primary source of energy for your body, but high levels can increase the risk of heart and circulatory diseases."
edit - sorry that could have spoiled the puzzle for someone if they know what’s in blood…
Thanks Larkswood. What we’re looking for is what is the common theme that links all four words together.
When I had the answer I wasn’t sure I understood it.
I do now.
Quite often I can only get 2 or 3 lines as it’s just too american but quite like the challenge. Same as you today, eventually got 3 lines and the last by default
