Horse, pony or donkey rescue

Hi,


Does anyone know of any charities rescuing horses, ponies or donkeys? I am in the Aude (11) and am thinking of adopting something to be a companion for my horse.


Ive contacted ERF and another big rescue in the Dordogne but its hard to find any information online.

Have you tried the Phoenix Association?
