There is no doubt in my mind that the weather patterns have changed here in Vendee on the Atlantic seaboard over the last twenty years. Temperatures of 30 deg have become more frequent in summer, and bitingly cold north easterly winds arrive regularly in winter to replace the previously mild south westerlies. Whatever the cause, the climate has changed, is continuing to change, and the rate of change is accelerating.
