How to add a video to a posting

I know how I can add photos to my postings but don’t know how to do the same with a video.

So, can someone please run me through how I add a YouTube (or any) video to a posting. I tried using the hyperlink but it didn’t actually show the video to be played just the hyperlink data.

To add a YouTube video, click on the “Share” button, then copy the link and paste directly into the SF text box.

Thank you Mark. I’ll type my posting again, this time adding the videos that I’m referring to.

Videos need to be hosted somewhere due to their size. Then just paste the link. but YT is not essential :slight_smile:

Can you recommend any free hosting sites for occasional use?

YouTube is free, though posted videos may be shown with ads in them, and you have to be careful to only use licensed royalty-free music in order to avoid your video receiving a “copyright strike” or being monetised by somebody else.

A good alternative is Vimeo, which has a limited free plan, though the free plan is more restricted than it used to be.

You can upload it to your own cloud provider, iCloud, Onedrive, Dropbox, etc. and share a link too.
