Ahead of getting a replacement heating system I want to get rid of 300 litres of heating oil and the tank - any ideas? LeBonCoin?

Friends offered us their oil. Had to hire a person to pump out the tank into 100ltr drums and then pump into our tank. Day rate for equipment and truck € 250…oil given free to get rid.

Offer it free on the usual sites and hope soneone is interested

You see quite a few ads on LBC, usually at v small cost 20c/l or similar. But 300l is not very much.
I think you live in a rural area, ask neighbours if interested or any farmer or viticulture you know if they want it for their old tractors.
We found several people (artisans seemingly) on LBC wanting to buy our fioul. We duly sold it to a landscape gardener for his tractor. The old fuel tank was removed by our plumber at a cost of 100€.
We asked around the neighbourhood and someone came and pumped out the remaining fuel we had, then the new heating system fitters took the actual tank away as part of the service.
