I saw this film on France 3 last night. I laughed like a drain.
It's 1h30 of téléfilm clichés about an anglo-brit couple who visit the in-laws in France.
David Lowe is just brilliant anyway, but his portrayal of a Brit who needed moral support because he was too scared to go to La Poste - but ended up in a loony bin after he tried to take out the guy who put up his "Guichet Fermé" sign... Brilliant!
And what about the brit half of the couple, the guy, who sells his father-in-law's precious bottles of Lafitte, giving the latter a coronary - but later earning him respect when the purchasers - an anglo-brit couple who run a pub - find that the first 6 of the 12 bottles are corked (they paid 90K for them)...
Oh, and the pub runs a support group for Brits who want to kill the French on a daily basis... LOL
