Can anyone tell me where i can find good quality wooden gates for the entrance to my home in southwest france. They need to deliver and most dont seem to want to do this !
Not quite the same thing but I have just had installed remote controlled gates from a company called AAH in Perigueux (24). They delivered and installed.
Worth a call at least, if you can’t find them I’ll have a dig for a phone number. Just come back to this thread if you need it.

Do the gates have to be wood ? 3 metre wide is a fairly standard size so any good sized Bricolage store should have a choice. Have a look at https://www.bricodepot.fr/la-roche-sur-yon/amenagement-despaces/terrasse-jardin/portail-portillons-clotures/portails-a-petit-prix/#p2_n50_srelevancy for example.
Brico Depot also have a scheme to put you in touch with a suitable installer if you need one, or you can hire one of their self drive delivery trucks if you wish to do the installation yourself and don’t have a suitable trailer with which to collect the gates.
Alternatively, just do a search for “portail en bois extérieur” and you’ll be spoilt for choice.
