For those of you who use WhatsApp, check your settings

Starting Saturday, AI will be available in WhatsApp and will have access to all chats.

All group admins should therefore enable the ā€œEnhanced Privacyā€ option. Otherwise, the AI ā€‹ā€‹can open group messages, see phone numbers, and even access personal data from your phone, including private chats.

Hereā€™s how to prevent this:

1.ā  ā Open the group chat.

2.ā  ā Tap the chat name at the top.

3.ā  ā Scroll down and enable the ā€œAdvanced Chat Privacyā€ option.ā€™

Now I know why I donā€™t use WhatsApp - much to my friendsā€™ irritation. Itā€™s just me, apparently, and the elderly sister in the US who donā€™t. :roll_eyes:
