They were regular biters in Bretagne every year especially around elastic and sock line and bra straps. Hence the name - august flies

Best thing for a mozzie bite is to put a hot spoon on it for about 30 seconds, as hot as you can stand. You’ll never look back!

I tend to get an allergic reaction to bites. However, when used within a few minutes after first bitten, this almost always completely removes the itch and swelling
