Professor Nick Maynard reports that one day young male teenagers are brought in with arm wounds, the next neck wounds, the next they are being shot in the testicles
This apart from the casualties of all ages suffering from blast injuries. Malnutrition then claims the lifes of young children who survive surgery.
It’s so sickening - why do European governments tolerate this?
I heard it too, and was transfixed, but what really impressed me was that the interviewer, very unusually in my experience, never once interrupted his long discourse. I think she must have felt the same way too.
Not just young men either. He also described how 2 young women, one pregnant the other with a new born, were injured by a drone which was routinely shooting at makeshift tents, one of which they were sheltering in. Fortunately all 4 survived.
All this goes in some way to justify the accusation of genocide, especially in a time of great shortage of formule milk for new born babies, it is actually confiscated at the border from medics trying to bring it in.
A former Israeli PM, Ehud Olmet (sp?) actually used the term concentration camps the other day. Now that is some accusation coming from an Israeli. Not for the first time I said to myself, with all their history, how could they do such things and try to justify them? If I was Jewish I would be shouting about it down the synagogue, I wonder if some are, I certainly have not heard reports of it.
Influence, money and somewhere between 90 and 400 nuclear weapons that can be delivered by their F-15 and F-16 aircraft, launched by their Dolphin class submarines or bolted into the fron of their Jericho ICBMs.
That’s why the USA can only scold the Israelis and the European leaders will only send them a polite letter or two asking them to behave.
I think it’s a lot more to do with the political power of their diasporas as well as Israel’s value as a buyer and provider of arms and various technology. Imagine if Iran was carrying out these attacks on a neighbour.
Tehran remembers 1980-1988 and knows they can’t do that again.
Remember that Iranians are Persians, not Arabs and the powerful Arab nations today see them as a destabilising rogue state just when Saudi et all want closer links with the West.
Also nobody wants the Palestinians to come and live with them, and there’s likely a fair degree of quietly hoping Israel will make a difficult problem just ‘go away’. Some in the UK see Israel as fighting on the front line against the Muslim invasion, and are positively grateful for what they’re doing.
In a way, Gaza IS just a small blip on the world stage compared to Ukraine and the possible further expansion of Russia into the Baltic states, China seizing Taiwan and expanding in the South China sea, plus the implosion of the US. It’s just much more attention-grabbing because of the manner in which it’s being done by a nation many westerners think is ‘a democracy, like us’. And in some ways they are.
What really sickens me is that the government is shouting about increased antisemitism in UK without ever mentioning that there is an obvious connection with the atrocities happening in Gaza.
The British Board of Deputies does exactly the same.
They must think that we are all totally deaf and blind.
Not even remotely true but they’re very bad at communicating the successes. Too busy worrying about the fraud leading Reform to actually have a decent communications programme
Name one part of the nestedcluster**** that the Tory omnishambles left behind that Starmer’s Labour government has fixed or even just made slightly less worse.
Killed Rwanda stone dead and has a new agreement with France.
£39Bn into affordable housing
Bringing railways back into public ownership
Employment rights bill
Planning and infrastructure bill
Significant new agreements with the EU, France and Germany
Time for the UK to ban everything connected with Israel. No more flights. No more imports or exports. No more arms sales.
Also time to say that anti-semitism has nothing to do with it.
Action against genocide is what is needed.
