Showery conditions and thunderstorms are often very localised and hard to predict so don’t be too hard on the Méteo bods.
My mother gets annoyed when the BBC TV national weather forecast mentions showers and then we don’t get any in our tiny corner of Surrey. 
My explanation that a two minute summary of the weather for the entire country doesn’t predict weather with an accuracy of two miles falls on (literally) deaf ears.

We tentatively first put our place in Monein on the market in 2013, and gradually got more “serious”, but the sale only finally happened in 2022, after very few viewings… The further away you get from the bog-standard 3-bed house, the fewer people there are who might be interested. We were a long way from a 3-bed. Is your place on “Bien’Ici” ?? I had a quick look but didn’t find it.
