but im a refugee will it work? because they said im able to work if im here for more then 6 months

I’m pretty sure that, if you’re a refugee, you can’t work legally. (And anyone who employed you would also be breaking the law.)

I’ve a friend who is a refugee and she knows she can’t.

Your link shows it depends on your status, and your employer having made an application.

Hi Kisolokele, I don’t think South Africans can be normally classed as refugees, because it’s not a war zone (though Jo’burg can sometimes seem like one).

But I’m happy to be corrected.
