Hi, recently fitted a new wood burner for which I have claimed part back in tax on the tax return. My question is, does anyone know how the rebate is paid back. Is it in the form of a one off payment to your bank, is it via a reduction in monthly tax payments or is it paid with a cheque direct to oneself.

We had a rebate last year that was given in cheque form. This year we have also claimed for a rebate on a new woodburner, and assume that they will do the same.
