The children look so beautiful, all that lovely lustrous hair, too. Incredible surgery, but it seems they may end up with learning difficulties, hope it’s not a serious handicap if it does ensue. Family is very brave to have to face this challenge, and lots of media intrusion on top.
I’m not sure about
The BBC were given permission to bear witness ground-breaking surgery. Personally, I felt the BBC team showed great care and compassion in putting together their report.
However, I am fairly sure those children will not be able to avoid the spotlight in the future. They will be upheld as shining examples of just what can be achieved.
