Hi, I read in the Connection the other day that ex-pats can now sign a will stating that they want their estate to be under the UK regime, i.e. you can name your benificaries. This is to come into effect from 2015. Anyone else know about this?
was discussed on here not long ago but I can't see France going for it without a struggle and I "wouldn't believe it until you see it", after all if you live in France it's normal to abide by the rules, regulations and administration/bureaucracy of that country ;-)
