It won’t change my shopping behaviours as we don’t use Internarché, but this is cute. You may all have seen it as seems to be referenced in all the papers, so just in case you have ‘t.

Two and a half minutes long! It is very well done.
Love it!!
Reminds me of one of my favourite stories. “Le loup est revenu!”
I would read this to the kids/with the kids .. during Lire et Faire Lire sessions in our little school.

It’s great, thank you for posting it.
That’s reminded my of those Heston Blumental pine scented mince pies Waitrose were pushing one year.
Caused about as much hysteria as the Thunderbirds Tracey Island toy.
Snagged a box for a laugh and the BBE date was a week before Xmas and they tasted like they’d been marinated in Retsina and/or fox p***.
Lovely advert… cheers ![]()
(must confess I’ve never heard of Joe Wilkinson before)
That’s wonderful, Jane! You’ve warmed the cockles of my cold old heart.
I’m still stuck in the UK - watching the christmas adverts; only one I really like this year is a Boots one, featuring the ‘m-o-s-t’ beautiful creamy long-haired striped cat with blue eyes wearing his black boots, red jacket and stylish hat. Reason I like it - because the cat reminds me so much of my best loved Seal tabby point Balinese (long-haired siamese) cat. I watch it - and sigh - and remember my special cat friend.
The french Intermarche advert is indeed special - and notable for its length - but promoting vegetarianism - in france of all places !!! Glad the lovely wolf was eventually welcomed by all the forest animals !!
Another UK advert (sorry) for Amazon - 3 rather mature ladies being given toboggans and sliding down a snowy hill - you’re never too old to be childish !!!
Hope my old ma hasn’t seen that one. She’s just had a hip replacement and is liable to do herself a mischief.
Sorry but she may well have done, most Uk crimbo ads are recycled, that Amazon one has been churned out for at least the last 3 years ![]()
I did feel sorry for the wolf.
But, in the Advert (and in the Storybook)… the wolf finally made friends with the other animals and all was well. ![]()
But he only made friends because he became a vegetarian and was no longer a threat to them !! But vegetarianism - in France of all places - I did find that aspect rather amusing.
I felt that the views of the vegetable community were not taken into consideration.
The Waitrose ad is really good but like all Christmas ads how many times would you want to watch them?
I‘ve watched the Intermarché one about 5 times!
Ah yes, that’s the root of the problem.
You might be lucky in France. I was there a week ago and did hear some Christmas songs sung in English in the supermarkets, but I bet you don’t get Slade! I imagine the group members’ great grandchildren will be able to live off the royalties of this song.
