Internet Trolls - A Legal (UK) Perspective

Not sure how this impacts French law and SF but worth a view from the #BlackBeltLawyer

Hmm… only a few moments into the video and I’m thinking… ah yes… I know some folk just like that…
So often, I read a post, generally a reply… and the way it’s worded/crafted… it get’s my back up… it gets me wanting to immediately respond and “shout them down/argue with them”…

I find myself tapping away… then pull up short and press the “cancel” button. Phew, narrow escape that time, I’m muttering to myself as I move on to something else.

Now, I’ll listen to the video all the way through… promise…

it’s why the SF team - alert to such posters - monitor their activities closely and take very swift action when they overstep the mark, which makes SF the excellent resource it is. Added to that is the strength of the SF membership too which equally and swiftly calls out the trolls bringing matters of concern to @cat to deal with.
