Hi Knitnglo - I’ve seen a nice house in Angouleme but it’s near the D72. I’m concerned about noise there (it’s on Rue de Basseau) and also how we might be viewed as the house would be only occupied during summer and the odd week or so in winter. With your insight into the area, do you think these might pose a problem. Any advice or tips you can give on the area would be really appreciated (considering Angouleme for public transport links to airport and coast). Many thanks
