It seems that my current username could be misunderstood that I am a priest which is definitely not the case. I would like it to be simply “Jimmy” if that is available
What makes you say that? I’ve not seen anything troll-like by Jimmy.

No I looked as well and the username is there but not editable. My guess is it would need administrator privileges?
I didn’t think it did, but it’s hard for me to tell because I get a “with moderator privilege” view.

Funnily enough, I assumed the FR stood for France, rather than Father. Just goes to show, even names depend in the beholder.

Yes! And with Fr preceding the name 
On a site that discusses life in France, I’d automatically make that connection rather than assume the priesthood.
