Issue with VLS-TS Online Registration

Has anyone recently tried to enter the address to register the VLS-TS onine? My address does not show up on the search and so I tried to enter it manually. But the Code postal field does not recognise a valid postal of either 33400 or 33600 (Talence and Pessac) and I am unable to proceed further. I am at a loss on what to do.

Things I have tried

  1. Cleared cache and cookies and turned off all kinds of translation on the browser
  2. Used Edge, Chrome and Firefox
  3. Did all of this only on the desktop and not from my Mobile - Tried from 3 different devices.
  4. No Autofills and double checked all previous entries

Tried contacting the authorities but have not heard back from them yet. As this is mostly an online only procedure cannot make an appoinment at the prefecture too.

Any help/suggestions in this regard would be very helpful!

I’ve come across a few French websites with address entry that don’t recognise some postal codes, or get the wrong village for my postal code. When entering the address manually, are you starting with the village name ? If you enter the number or house name first it may not work. I always put the village name first and it often finds it for me before I’ve entered it all, and then gives me a list of valid addresses within the village.

I’m just wondering if someone like France Services can help you to do this on-line.
Your Mairie (or maybe even Pages Jaunes) should be able to tell you how to contact 'em. In fact your Mairie might be able to clarify the Address/Code Postale thingy…
