It’s Monday…

My gallery [summerhouse as was] is progessing VERY SLOWLY. I have one wall with pictures up. But age sloweth the leetle grey cells .. [after H. Poirot]

To get a line where all the bottom edges of the frames line up [the trad hang] butt all the frames up, touching side by side. Run a line across the bottom, the width of the wall. There’s the line your aiming for.

I am using pic rail, hooks and braided nylon fishing line. I know you don’t like the shadows of cords but that method does allow for changing the hang without banging any more holes in the walls - of which I made a sacking offence for the lodgers in my house in Bristol.

But the big job now is flooring. I’ve always said that a place looks a building site, however sprauncy it looks above floor level, if the final flooring is not installed.

The old vinyls is a mess. Stained 'n 'orrible. I have come up with a ‘chapuza’ = a Spanish bodge with a good outcome. 5m x 800mm rolls of self-stick vinyl. Very cheap on TEMU.
