I do not see any reference in this article to what was said on the French side. From Le Figaro,
Le président français a souligné de son côté que les deux pays voulaient «avancer de concert » dans la lutte contre l’immigration irrégulière tout en ayant «conscience des enjeux humains » et de «l’extrême sensibilité de ces sujets.
I suppose France stressing that it is a sensitive issue involving human beings is not going to appear in the UK media.

In total over several years and includes a large detention centre to put people in.
Personally I’d prefer an asylum claim centre on this side of the channel, and free ferry tickets.
