Must be round 30 years ago now that went to Gabarek:Hilliard Ensemble concert at Kings. Which was the perfect location and it still sticks in my mind as one of the of my top musical experiences.

(Edit to add: I went to their gig at Kings in 99 as well - the Mnemosyne debut.)
Good gig wasn’t it? I didn’t go to Geneva for one of their final tour concerts as still have such a clear memory.
I’m a bit of a Garbarek groupie so have seen him in various countries, the last was in Basel 2 years ago as was getting worried that he may stop playing public soon. But seemed in fine form.
Did you read that Marilyn Mazur died? She was my favorite of the percussionists he’s played with. Sad
